My goodness, the past month has flown by so quickly I almost forgot it was time for the second instalment of All Gone Latics, the All-New Fanzine from the Wigan Athletic writing All-Stars! Well, with a whole year’s worth of drama condensed into 30 days, can you forgive me?
One thing’s for certain: it’ll make for a great issue of Wigan’s up-and-coming print fanzine. This time round, I’ve taken a break from cover designing duties, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be other JWAW visual treats inside. If I were John Motson, I would describe it as a Christmas cracker of an edition… but I’m not, so I won’t.
You can pre-order your copy right now at this very weblink, or be patient and wait for the Rotherham game to arrive on 20 December (that’s a week on Saturday). As usual, the ‘zine will be available to purchase from the South-East bridge and outside the Club Shop from 1.30pm.
For my own part, I’m going to have to buy a few copies to satisfy demand at the JWAW and PWU offices, so geddon down there before I buy them all in an attempt to reach the top of the WH Smith Christmas #1 Bestsellers chart. If it’s good enough for Cliff Richard’s mother, it’s good enough for me.
This month: Graham Kavanagh interview, Bolton (Rosler?) post-mortem and an ‘interesting’ puzzle page. Proceeds go to Wigan Youth Zone.
