To all the Progress With Unity first-timers, hi there! You’ve picked a good edition to jump onto the opinionated bandwagon. Apparently there’s been a certain amount of fallout from some tackle or other, so we felt compelled to host a particularly heated, intense debate about it. Not that we’re ones to latch onto whatever the mainstream media are currently obsessed with, oooh no.

Ahh, and there’s the small issue of three huge points for the Latics cause. They may have been fortunate and partially dependent on the fallibility of certain officials (depending on your personal viewpoint), but they’re a welcome addition to the coffers. Elsewhere, the Wembley build-up continues apace and there are some new jokes to rival the Kevin Friend postie puns!

Contents: Newcastle review (2:36); Wigan Time (12:00); that other thing (17:30); Latics-Newcastle stats & relegation odds (37:35); Wembley update & internationals (43:45)

Progress With Unity is currently the only Wigan Athletic fan podcast on the web. If you would like to get involved or have any topics you’d like to be discussed please get in touch with Barry at wigan@vitalfootball.co.uk, marking your email PWU Podcast.

If anybody read all of my awful contribution to Wednesday’s Evening Post 12th Man, I owe you compensation. Get in touch via @JesusIsAWiganer or @PWUPodcast and we’ll read out your message if we think it’s interesting or irrelevant enough.

JWAW will now take a week’s break and return with the next PWU Podcast to moan about Wigan’s international woes. But hey, now’s as good a time as any to break the hoodoo with a resounding victory over Norwich. Then, of course, we’ll be into April and the traditional Wigan Time, so whatever happens it’s gonna make for compelling viewing.

Thanks for listening, and thanks for reading this sentence.
