Choccy bar

Actual chocolate pictured may not be Belgian

Choccy bar
*Chocolate pictured may not be Belgian, but looks pretty blooming tasty to me.

From outta nowhere springs a surprise podcast! In light of European commitments, Progress With Unity makes a welcome return some 24 hours earlier than its usual Thursday release. The whole situation has completely confused me as I keep thinking I’ll have to put the bins out for Friday morning, but shall refrain from doing so in case the kids use it as a goalpost –or perhaps an oversized cricket wicket– again. Spent fifteen minutes erasing ballprints the last time that happened. Grumble.

Earlier today, Latics rocketed out to Jovian natural satellite Europa for the commencement of the 2013 Ropey League. Not even being outplayed at Leicester can puncture the positively upbeat crew of the PWU hot air balloon, which has now sailed into its second year of lazily floating about. Reason enough to break out the (Belgian) chocolate biscuits, methinks! *Crunch.*

Contents: All-too-lengthy Leicester review (0:00); Grant Holt exclusive! (16:30); Zulte Waregem preview (17:40) incl. interview with Bart Lagae, Belgian correspondent (18:38); Ipswich, maybe? (32:45)

Get involved!

Progress With Unity is currently the only Wigan Athletic fan podcast on the web. If you wish to get involved or have any topics you’d like to be discussed, please get in touch with Barry at wigan@vitalfootball.co.uk, marking your email PWU Podcast.

Hope you enjoyed this international special, which is the first of many such editions. Hey, these next few months are going to be pretty exciting, so I won’t be offended if you decide to use those PWU iTunes, RSS and app tools we have available to keep up to date. Ooh man, I’m like a dog who’s just been told he’s going for walkies! Whatever happens in the next 48 hours, remind yourself this is history happening right here. Good or bad, we’ll all be prattling on about this until the day we’re incinerated and placed in a vase on our offspring’s mantelpiece.
