Latics lose again? Don’t be a fuel! (Fnar fnar.)

Sorry to be pe-trollin’ you with that title and image caption, but I thought I’d prepare you for the manic media meltdown that is Transfer Deadline Day (always capitalised). On that basis, we have to cover it, eh? Please find attached a 14-page document outlining the skills and attributes of each Latics player as determined by the nation’s top scouts.

Oops, thought I was still playing Championship Manager there. This is Progress With Unity we’re talking about here, and the statistics are largely made up and/or stolen from BBC Sport. Uh oh, I hope Statman doesn’t read that or he will revoke my PWU milk monitor privileges.

Part 2 of the B-Men Trilogy this week, with Blackpool out of the way and Birmingham and Blackburn to come. There’s a week off in between, but like a terrible breakfast radio show with a gravelly voiced ex-TV presenter, we’ll dig up something mildly interesting to fill the (internet) airwaves, just you watch. Or listen, whatever.

For more info on that giant sticker artwork, see here or drop into the Football Museum at some point in the next month or so. I forgot to mention that you can also add your swaps to the overall artwork for a limited time only… well, at least until it’s finished. Remember, it’s gotta be World Cup 2014 football stickers, not some cheap traffic light-shaped ones you got free with the 1977 Tufty Annual. Contact me if you want to make a separate artwork out of those!

It’ll look a bit like this when done. Maybe.

I’ll update you once the project’s finished, if Barry lets me do another announcement on a future PWU Podcast, so keep an eye on the PWU iTunes, RSS and app pages for the latest news. Maybe. Or, you can just listen to us complain about Latics some more! Ahhhh yesssss.
